Symbology lost when renaming feature class primary key field name

Hi All,

I am trying to migrate project to ArcGIS 10.4.1, I have some layers and MXDs, in these layers I did JOIN between the layer's Feature class and other tables and do the symbology based on this JOIN.

Now I have big problem, that the primary key on the feature class has been renamed and still as it is in the JOINED table, so after setting the new feature layer data source the JOIN is damaged because the old primary key is not exist in the feature class and then the symbology also.

I don't need to recreate these layers and MXDs again.

Can anyone help me on this case.
