Story Map template selection.

Is there a "best" story map template to use for a map series showing maps for 9 commodities for the last 9 quarters?

Yes, that is a matrix of 81 maps. The Atlas Maps template was configured well for this but is now unsupported (I found this out the hard way).

Also, my organization uses Portal for ArcGIS and only pulls basemaps from ArcGIS Online but our webmaps are not public.

Yes, thanks. The playlist description says: "Playlists tap a single web map that includes an array of locations, usually derived from a CSV spreadsheet". I don't think that applies as I have 81 webmaps that all use the same Conus extent and depict ag loan volume for 9 commodities.

The playlist apps I've previewed allow you to select the point markers (or sidebar thumbprints) and get image and story content in a popup that usually also has embedded links to other web pages. They're cool but I don't think that format applies to what I need.
