We use a zone lookup application to help people, in house and the public, to determine if they are in our service area or not. It's been reliable and worked well for the past year but the past few weeks we have been seeing issues with it returning the wrong results.

Application Link: https://hccsd.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/lookup/index.html?appid=e5f23a1a60a449cebb0f911849c0d7ae

Example Address: 1806 Federal Rd, Houston, TX 77015

When first navigating to the application it's a tossup if it will return the correct results or not.

For the address I provided, it is contained within three of the five polygons. However, the application is returning all five layers in the map. The only layers that should be returned are the following:

HCD Cooperative City: City of Galena Park

HCD Service Area / CDBG Entitlement Area

Disaster Recovery (DR) Beryl Service Area

<video-js data-video-id="6403161343112" data-account="6161463677001" data-player="default" data-embed="default" class="vjs-fluid" controls="" data-application-id="" style="width: 100%; height: 100%;"></video-js>
(view in My Videos)

I'm able to replicate the issue of the time if I do the following:

Submit another address in the search bar and press enter without clearing search location first. (Works 100% of the time)

Reload the page after searching an address. (Inconsistent, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't)

I've have also been able to get it to return the correct results every time if I do an initial search, clear search location, then search the address again but this adds unnecessary steps to verifying if you are in our service area.

Has anyone else had issues similar to this? If so, could you please share your solutions, this application is used by many people and getting wrong results weakens confidence in the applications we produce.

I took a look at the way your app is configured and it looks like all five layers are included in the "Layers to include in results" section. If you remove the layers you don't want included does that return the proper results?
