Problem exiting Attachment viewer in Manager Instant App Table

In the Split view of the Manager Instant App, there are 3 tiny photo thumbnails attached for every row in the table.

If I click on the Attachment Field, the 3 thumbnails are enlarged, withe the Table showing only the Object ID Field.

If I click on any photo, it opens in a separate browser tab, which is fine.

However, I can't figure out how to exit the larger thumbnail view and return to the selected row. The only way I've been able to exit the Attachment viewer is to click on the map. But then whatever row I had checked is no longer checked, so I can't edit another field in that row after viewing the attached photo.

Is there a way to exit the Attachment thumbnail viewer and still keep the row with those attachments checked for editing? I've tried using the ESC key without any luck and there doesn't seem to be a "back" arrow.

I look forward to any thoughts.

Upon further investigation, I discovered that a tiny (really, really tiny and not at all recognizable as an arrow) "up" arrow at top left in the Table exits the Attachment Viewer and leaves the row checked. But you still have to scroll through the table to find the checked row.

This should be fixed to exit in the checked row. and the exit "up" arrow needs to be larger and maybe labeled exit.
