topic Water level viewer in ArcGIS Instant Apps Questions

Hi everyone,

I’m creating a water level viewer where users can adjust the water level using a slider (starting at 0 NAP and increasing). The goal is to show water only in areas where the terrain is lower than the selected water level. If the terrain is higher, no water is displayed.

I want the slider to dynamically calculate the difference between the selected water level and the terrain height, so the map updates in real time. I’m considering using Arcade for this but am unsure how to connect the slider to the layer to make it work dynamically.

Has anyone worked on something like this before? I’d appreciate any tips or guidance!
