topic Missing Raster Error - After deleting source data for cached service in ArcGIS Image Server Questions

Hi everyone,

I have multiple cached map services that are used to display imagery. They work great! Except I'm having one issue. So, each service was cached from imagery in a map, and after they were set up, all of the source data was removed from the server to save on storage space. The services perform great, very fast and better for just a flat basemap for users to see imagery on. They've been used for over a year and run solely off the cache.

My issue is I happen to look at my Server Manager for the machine, and I notice I an error stating 'Missing Raster' code 80020 for the services. I have disabled as much as I can to prevent the services from trying to look for any source data since it's deleted. For example, pop ups are disabled and no tables are available.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had this happen and what you did to fix it. Or if it's even worth fixing, since I don't see anything wrong currently beyond it telling me it can't find the source data.

Thanks!
