      <title>Does anyone know how to get a basic terrain/topographical layer for British Columbia?</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tanner,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it looks like elevation data that has been symbolised using shaded relief and hypsometric tints. You should be able to download the data from here:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.geobase.ca/geobase/en/data/cded/index.html" title="http://www.geobase.ca/geobase/en/data/cded/index.html"&gt;GeoBase - Canadian Digital Elevation Data&lt;/A&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anthony&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
