Hub site application summary reverts back to default

Hi--I have several hub sites and one of them in particular is having a strange problem. When I edit the summary on the items page (next to thumbnail) and save it, it only lasts for a couple of hours, or maybe a day at most, before reverting back to the default text, i.e., "Create your own initiative by combining existing applications with a custom site. Use this initiative to form teams around a problem and invite your community to participate." I attached a screenshot to illustrate where I'm talking about. Any ideas on how to get it to stick?

Here is a follow-up example. I just checked the Hub gallery page and you can see that most initiatives have custom summaries but two of them (see attached) have the generic summaries. My problem is that I keep having to overwrite the generic summaries but then my custom text only lasts a few hours or a day at most.
