Recommendation for smaller Laptop?

I need to switch from a desktop to a laptop but I don't want to carry around a big 17" due to a back injury. Anyone have a smaller laptop recommendation that you are using successfully on the road? I can't go Pro until the legal community joins the 21st century. In many jurisdictions anything cloud based is not protected and subject to discovery. TIA

if it can run pro it will be more than sufficient for arcmap

I recommend 15" surface book 2, it can work as a laptop or split it to use as a tablet. Surface Book... note the Book part, since there are others that you should be confused with
