Why can't I see my site now that I made it public?

This is beyond frustrating. I show the potential site to upper management and they are impressed . . . I'm not. I've removed data from the list that continues to show up with errors:

I changed the site from private to public:

Yet when I click on ANY link to the dataset name from any browser from any device it takes me to:

What did I forget this time?

Hi Venus - I'm sorry to hear that you've had frustrations. Let's get this fixed together ASAP!

First, I can see your site public here: http://dev.phoenix.opendata.arcgis.com

Is that the URL you are typing into your browser? Perhaps you are trying to use a Custom URL.

Regarding the CSV item, can you share the link to the ArcGIS Online item. That will help us identify the potential issue.

ssounds like he'll be able to help you. Main thing is, I could see you're open data page, and not the default AGOL page. And actually, I misread the original post...thought it was the main page you had issues with, but it was the links....and I am getting the default page for those.

Good luck. I'm going to follow thus thread since it may be something I'll try in the future.

I can get the main page (yes the link you indicated above) but I can't get any of the links to work. They are what take me back to the ESRI Open Data web site.

I've also used one of our external (not on the City's network) tablets to make sure our map services are getting through to the public and they seem to be. So why do I get redirected to ArcGIS Open Data every time I click on a link to my map services?

Venus - can you share the URL to the map service or search that you are trying to use in Open Data?

For example - this map service works fine for me: http://dev.phoenix.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/0dbd8c342c694710a2273b812425b811_0

and overall I see 30 datasets in your search Search | City of Phoenix

Ok - this helps.

So it looks like you have created 3 sites - 1 is public and 2 are private. So the Private ones should be visible to you if you are logged into https://opendata.arcgis.com/admin/ . I confirmed with our test sites that I can see private sites when I am logged in.

You can verify that your URL works with your Public dev site:

http://dev.phoenix.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets?keyword=economic

So can you confirm that you are logged in to the admin and click on the Preview link and if you can then see the private site or if it is redirecting you to /about/

Ah ha!

I copied the "private" site to create my development site. What I failed

to do is update the "links" to now reflect the new "

http://dev.data.phoenix.opendata.arcgis.com/...." as opposed to the

original "http://data.phoenix.opendata.arcgis.com/..." links!

DUH!!!
