idea Disable filtering on specific fields in open data hub in ArcGIS Hub Ideas

I would like to have the ability to choose fields which fields can be used for filtering in a layer shared in the open data hub. We have a policy to not have certain fields searchable, but have the fields available in the pop-up. (I'm purposely being vague as to not have this post show up in a search and not provide instructions on how to circumvent this policy.)

We understand that this will not eliminate the societal issue that is being addressed, but studies have shown that the more roadblocks you put up, the more certain people have time to think about what they are doing and decide against it.

I really hope things makes sense.

Aside from the issue we're trying to address here, I bet there are other reasons you may not want people to filter on a certain fields, whether it's a strain on your service or it's just not appropriate for that dataset/field.
