This would allow datasets shared through Hub to be discoverable and represented as STAC Items via a compliant STAC API, improving interoperability and data discovery.</P><P>STAC has rapidly become the de facto standard for indexing and discovering geospatial assets, particularly cloud-native formats like COGs, but also increasingly for vector data and other resources. Creating and maintaining a STAC API for data providers is currently challenging.
