idea Blog element for Hub in ArcGIS Hub Ideas

We're building a Hub for public communication in emergency situations. This will replace our current communications site, which is built on the Wordpress blog platform. While Hub has many advantages over Wordpress, the Text element is a poor substitute for blog functionality, and we wondered if Esri would ever develop a Blog Card for Hub.

A blog allows for date and authorship information to be automatically populated, and allows for tags and archiving. We imagine this would be useful for other organizations besides ours. For now, we are considering incorporating our existing blog with an IFrame, but that requires separate maintenance of the two platforms, and the IFrame doesn't allow for translation with the site translation button, which is a major consideration in communicating emergency information.

Something like this would be great, actually. I've fooled around with storing dynamic content like blog posts in a hosted table, but never got an out of the box way to populate cards on the Hub site, and the editing experience was lame.

This would be really useful and we also want something similar for our hubs.

GIS Analyst @ The Rivers Trust
