Allow for .docx uploads to Hub Content Library

Our college mandates that all materials we share have to be in Word with image alt tags for accessibility – no PDFs. Hub allows for .doc uploads, but not .docx. Alt tags can only be added in .docx files. Can you help me eliminate a step in my workflow?

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. Adding uplosd support for .docx is a good idea and we'll consider it for our near to mid-term backlog. In the meantime, if you need to upload .docx, ArcGIS Online will allow you to directly upload a .docx file that you can then add to your site's content group.

Thank you, @ThomasHervey1 – that worked! I'd really like to be able to load .docx directly into the Hub Content Library, but this will work for now.
