No one an answer? I figured out i get the best results if i ignore the trend removal in second step. The average standart error gets almost same as root mean square and root mean square standart is almost 1. Any other advices?

Hey guys,

need help. I dont understand properly the "exploratory trend surface analysis" step in the geostatistical wizard/cokriging. I under stand the trend removal one step before but what is the "exploratory trend surface analysis" for? Can somebody explain it in simple words. Is it the same polynom order as the trend removal order i recognized in Trend Analysis? Any other advices to improve my cokriging model (i use the ordinary model, my layers are 20 measuring points and a height model DGM)?

Thx for any advices:)
