I dont understand properly the "exploratory trend surface analysis" step in the geostatistical wizard/cokriging. I under stand the trend removal one step before but what is the "exploratory trend surface analysis" for? Can somebody explain it in simple words. Is it the same polynom order as the trend removal order i recognized in Trend Analysis?
