Problem with GA Layer Export to Raster

Hope someone can help me. Using ArcGIS 10.2 and the Geostatistical Analyst, I have generated several kriged surfaces and have attempted to export them to raster using the Data --> Export to Raster command. When I do this I see the "working circle" for a few seconds and then nothing. The GA Layer to Raster window does not appear. Interestingly, when I export the kriged layers to vector using the Data --> Export to Vector command, the GA Layer to Contour window appears and works perfectly. What have I missed?

What happens if you launch the GA Layer To Grid geoprocessing tool (Geostatistical Analyst tools-> Working with Geostatistical Layers) ?

What OS are you running?

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium edition, SP1.
