topic GWR and Weights in ArcGIS GeoStatistical Analyst Questions

I am attempting to perform a Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR). I have a Weights Field which is boolean (binary) which can have either a 0 or 1. 0 indicates no, 1 indicates yes. It is a short integer field. I have 40,000 records in the Feature Class, of these 2,000 would have a weight of 1, the other 38,000 would have a weight of 0.

Can Weights for a GWR use a binary field?

If not, what is the best Geostat method to use if I have a combination of % values and binary values?
