How to create a Field Mapper Processor from plain JSON to hierarchical JSON

GeoEvent 10.8.1.

I want to include a Field Mapper Processor in a GeoEvent Service to map fields from a plain GeoEvent Definition to a hierarchical GeoEvent Definition, as you can see in the screenshot attached. But it's not possible, the FieldMapper generates an exception.

Is there any alternative to map a plain GeoEvent Definition to a hierarchical GeoEvent Definition without developping a custom processor?

Unfortunately, what you are asking for is not possible with the OOTB Field Mapper. By design, there is no way to map into a hierarchical event defintion structure.
