topic Spatiotemporal Datastore multi-node setup best practices in ArcGIS GeoEvent Server Questions

I have seen documentation stating that when deploying spatiotemporal datastore it is best to have it set up with 3 nodes. While I understand the reason for providing backup to the back if the 1st 2 fail. I was wondering if there was any other reason why it might not be acceptable to deploy 2 instead of the prescribe 3?

Hi Michael, thank you for your question.

To answer your question, we recommend having an odd number of nodes to help the cluster elect and agree upon the master node.
