GEP manager not loading in IE10

I am new to GEP and am running into an issue getting GEP Manager to open in IE 10. When I enter the URL https://localhost:6143/geoevent/manager/, I get a "This page can't be displayed" message.

[ATTACH=CONFIG]27212[/ATTACH]

A similar error is encountered when entering Service Designer. "unable to connect to server https://localhost:6143/. Please ensure that it is running."

I know my Arc server is running and accessable and my IIS is running.

Any ideas?

Joe,

Have you licensed GeoEvent Processor? Judging by the error message in the screen shot you sent, it seems like GeoEvent Processor is no longer running when you launch the browser. Since the GeoEvent Processor service will exit if you do not have a license, lack of a valid license seems a likely culprit here.

One way to check your license status is to look in the file <GEP_INSTALL_DIR>\data\log\karaf.log and look for a line with the text "LicenseChecker." If your log file doesn't say "License status: GeoEventProcessor: licenseStatusSuccess" then you need to run the Server Authorization Wizard and provided a valid license. Once you get a valid license, you can authorize GeoEvent Processor by following steps 1-6 on this page.

Please let me know if this is in fact the problem.

GEP_INSTALL_DIR = <ArcGIS_SERVER_INSTALL_DIR>\GeoEventProcessor
Default for ArcGIS_SERVER_INSTALL_DIR = C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server
So default GEP_INSTALL_DIR=C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\GeoEventProcessor

You were correct. The license file was corrupt or incorrect so after re installing the file it worked.

I have got the very same notification, and my licensing is perfectly fine, just like mentioned "License status: GeoEventProcessor: licenseStatusSuccess".

Jeroen,

If your license is valid, another thing to try is

Stop GEP Service

Delete folder <GEP_INSTALL_DIR>\data

Restart GEP service.

Let us know if that gets you going.

Hi Javier,

Thank you for the suggestion, this however didn't work. I deleted the complete folder > then restarted the GeoEventprocessor service> Checked the karaf.log (it didn't contain the "License status: GeoEventProcessor: licenseStatusSuccess) > Followed Step 1-6 > Checked the karaf.log again (now it did contain the "License status: GeoEventProcessor: licenseStatusSuccess) > Opened the browser, and again the same message...
