Hi,

I'm trying to make my feature classes editable in the arcgis Mobile software and they are sitting in a feature dataset. I've figured out that I need to add a Global ID to them, and I can get that to work for a normal feature class, but is there a way to make that work for the feature classes in a feature dataset?

Thank you!

Regards,

Emily

Emily,

If you add a feature class to a feature dataset and want to add a Global ID column to it, you need to run the Add Global ID command on the
feature dataset. This will add a Global ID column to the new feature class and any feature classes that don't already have a Global ID column.
Feature classes already having a Global ID column will remain unchanged.
http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisdesktop/10.0/help/index.html#//003n0000001m000000

Cheers,
Denise
