Can't connect to Web Server from Mobile Project Center 9.4 Beta 2

Hi,

I've installed all components of ArcGIS Mobile 9.4 Beta 2 on a Windows Vista machine with ArcGIS Server 9.4 Beta 2.

The problem is that I cannot connect to the local Web Server from the Mobile Project Center. If I try to Open a connection to my local Web Server from the Mobile Project Center to get a listing of projects (I know none are there I am just testing this) I get this error:

"The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error."

So I cannot access the Web Server to save Mobile Projects.

As a test I typed in http://fosheim/arcgis/mobile/ to my web browser on the same machine and it returned the error in the attachment that seems to relate to ASP.NET and authenticating the user but I'm not sure how to correct this.

The user I am logged in as is a member of the agsadmin group and is an Administrator on the machine.

As a side note I installed this on a Windows XP machine and I do not get the problem there.

Please help.

Problem solved: user error

Hi,

I figured out the problem. I had 9.4 Beta 1 on the machine and didn�??t delete the contents of the inetpub\wwwroot\ArcGIS\Mobile directory after I removed all the Beta 1 software. I removed all the old content from Beta 1 and left the files from Beta 2 in the directory. Now everything is fine.
