Just Upgraded iPhone ArcGIS App -- Lost Features

I've just upgraded the free iPhone ArcGIS app to Version 2.3, build 692 this morning after my phone was reset and am I frustrated. Not only does it take more clicks to set up a new ArcGIS server connection but I can't figure out how to add a map to My Favorites. In the older version, I could add it from the details page under the information menu. As an added problem, I can't figure out how to get back to the My Favorites screen once I'm in a map. I thought perhaps I could add a map from that menu, but I can't get there. I don't generally favor turning off a device to cure problems but I tried that anyway and it didn't help. It just brought me back to the server I was earlier connected to with no path back to the My Favorites screen.

As an added frustration, on the 3G I've borrowed for testing, every time I leave the application and return, it brings me back to the server page. I then have to click the Maps option, then the folder option and reload the map from the starting point.

What am I missing here? I hesitate asking people to download the application if it isn't friendly. If I can get some help with this, I can amend the documentation as necessary.
