toolbar in excel doesn't appear (needs to be add every time)

Hi,

every time I open MS Excel I need to add Esri Maps toolbar manually. It works fine but when I exit excel and I open again the esri toolbar doesn't appear and once again I need to add it. Do you know how to lock that toolbar to avoid adding it every time? I use MS Office 2013 and I had that problem with 2 latest versions of EMfO.

Hi Daniel,

You'll need to go into your registry editor (Start Menu > regedit).

Once you're there, expand as follows:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Office > Excel > Addins > Esri Maps for Office

Click on that, and for LoadBehaviour, right click to modify, and change the value to 3.

Repeat the same change for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT if you need this to happen for all users.
