ArcGIS Maps for Office now has its own GeoNet group!

Hi all - we've heard a lot of feedback from customers that it was difficult to find product-specific information in this Esri Maps catch-all space, so I've created a Maps for Office group here: http://www.esri.com/software/maps-for-office

I'm hoping we can become more easy to find for folks searching for Maps for Office info. We also want to use this new group to hear what you're up to with Maps for Office (any cool use cases or workflows?) and share with you sneak peeks into future versions. We'll announce beta opportunities there as well as solicit participants for usability studies (help us test our designs and see the cool new stuff first!).

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the information. Not sure if you can help me. A few weeks back I have posted a question since I am having trouble in logging to ArcGIS Maps from Excel. I did a search on the forum for similar issues and I did the recommended actions to solve the problem. However, the problem is still persisting. Today I upgraded to the latest version of ArcGIS and I still cannot enter to my public Esri Global Account. I would really appreciate some help on this because I would like to explore further the usage of maps in Excel.

Hi Victoria - I haven't heard of this issue before. I'm sorry to hear you've been dealing with it for so long; your best bet is to contact support at 888-377-4575. They are best equipped to troubleshoot your issue and, if it turns out to be a bug, get it documented and sent to the development team for a fix to be created.
