How to Integrate ArcGIS Enterprise (Intranet-Only) with SharePoint Online?

One of our clients is planning an integration between ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal deployed in an intranet-only environment) and SharePoint Online.

From a network and security standpoint, the requirement is to allow outbound access from ArcGIS Enterprise to specific SharePoint Online URLs/endpoints, while restricting inbound access to ArcGIS Portal so that it remains accessible only via VPN or internal network.

In this model:

Is egress-only connectivity to SharePoint Online supported without exposing ArcGIS Portal publicly?
What network or security architectures (e.g., proxy, firewall rules, DMZ) are commonly implemented for this use case?
Are there any ArcGIS Enterprise components that inherently require inbound internet access when integrating with SharePoint Online?

We have M365 SharePoint, and an intranet only ArcGIS Enterprise site. As most integration occurs in the browser we have not had problems so far with using ArcGIS for SharePoint with our ArcGIS Enterprise instance.

hi @Arizky , I think as long as your ArcGIS Enterprise register on DNS local and have internet, you can integrate with SharePoint 365.
