You need authorization to access data from the SharePoint site.

Hello everyone, I have added a web-part using the ArcGIS for SharePoint app on my SharePoint site.

However, I have come across this error message when trying to add content from my SP site to the map.

My organisation's ICT specialists have made me a Site Collection Administrator but this issue still persists.

Any suggestions/directions would be really appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Can you please follow the below steps and let us know if it helps resolve the issue you are experiencing. We also have a patch to address an issue with geotagging when the map web part is added to the home page. I would strongly recommend that you install the latest patch/update from the store.
