esri web part not in category

From SharePoint2013 Central Admin, created a Web Application called maps2.myurl.edu.

I then installed the esri Maps 4 beta 2 for SharePoint 2013, checking the box for maps2...

I then start the browser with maps2.myurl.edu, and want to start connected the esri maps web parts.

Clicking on the Insert tab, Web Part, I do not see the esri Maps web part in the Categories list.

In the Install and deploy instructions, there is a section on "Configure Esri Maps for SharePoint."

It states 'you must be a site collection administrator....but I did not see the location of step 2 - Esri Maps for SP Administration

Could this step be the reason I don't see the web parts?

And, I uninstalled then reinstalled the Beta 4 and voila.
