ESRI Maps for Sharepoint not displaying in web part

I am trying to display a list of points in the Esri Maps for SharePoint web part. My list has latitude and longitude. I have added the Esri Location column and when I view an individual item I get a nice little map showing the item in the correct position.

I have had success displaying all my points on a page using the ArcGIS Map Web Part, but want the functionality of the ESRI Maps Web Part.

My list appears in ESRI Maps Web Part but after I 'add' the list, get an empty layer.

Am I missing a step?

I have tried IE10, IE11 and Google Chrome, all resulted in the same problem.

Thanks, sometimes browser is an issue in EM4S.

If you don't use a list, does the ESRI Maps Web Part display normally?

does the original names of the coordinate fields in your list fit these combinations?

Latitude/Longitude
X/Y
ShapeX/ShapeY

Hello Paul,

Many times, the issue is related to trusted sites. Here is an article as to how to add sites to your trusted sites list:

Security zones: adding or removing websites - Windows Help

Please try adding all of the following:

http://<YourSharepointSite>

http://www.arcgis.com

http://*.arcgis.com

http://<PortalforArcGIS> << If Applicable
