XML model [config.xml] is not configured properly

Hi everyone

Does anyone got problem like me? My problem is after I config a map in esri map designer and preview it.The warning "XML model [config.xml] is not configured properly" will appear and when go back to edit a map in esri map designer, every thing that I just set is gone.

The error is [ATTACH=CONFIG]22667[/ATTACH]

Have ant Ideas?

Did you follow the steps in section 7.2 of the installation and configuration guide of ESRI IBM for cognos?

If yes , Can you send me the Fiddler or firebug log?

wael yahya,

I already follow the steps in section 7.2 both of them (in the installation and configuration guide has 2 section 7.2 Adding map service and Create default map).

My step is
- Open Esri map Designer
- Goto my report
- Click Configure
- Add esri street map 2D
- Set extent to USA
- Save & Close
- Click preview
- XML model [config.xml] is not configured properly appear
- Click ok and closd preview
- Click edit
- All setting is goto default and I add layer World street and set extent
- Click save & Close notthing happen so I click close(cross at top right)

please help me.

In the fiddler output , one line has an issue as follows:

Finally, I can solve it. Just change Web server of IBM Cognos from Apache to IIS7 and set every thing follow installation and configuration guide. But,if I use Apache I still got error.
