ESRI Maps for IBM Cognos Issue

I couldn't resolve the issue of filtering Cognos query if the map layer is coordinates (point) , it is working only if the map layer is polygon.

Please advice.

Hello,

Could you explain the workflow that is not working in a bit more detail? When I set up a broadcast action (click, double-click, or toolselect) on a point layer in the map it is able to be used to filter other queries in the report.

It might be worth checking that the broadcast action is configured with the correct query/field combination in Esri Maps Designer. You must select the Cognos query for the report item(s) that you would like to update as well as the field in the query that matches the field from the point layer that you are using to perform the broadcast action.

If this does not fix the issue that you are experiencing, it would be helpful to have a bit more information (reproduction steps, for example) about the problem in order to try to narrow down the cause of the issue.
