Multiple dynamic layers + other questions

Hi BI / GIS colleagues

1) Do you have any idea why reference layers shown with transparency when consumed from ArcGIS for Maps BI? It has no transparency in ArcGIS Online! And I can’t change it from ArcGIS Maps for BI since it is a ref layer from AGO.

2) Is there anyway to include more than one dynamic layer in BI? let's say both polygons and points?

Hello Ori

For point 1 - Changing the transparency is not an option for reference layers in Power BI. The reason it adds transparency for polygon layers is to allow visibility of other context layers such as the basemap.

Point 2 - Adding multiple reference layers can be done in Power BI 2020.1 release

Re: point 2, the question was about adding another layer that will be dynamically and synced with the other visuals not another references layer,

I also noticed it adds it adds transparency for point level data by default, can this be resolved or at the very least be customized some how?

I believe your question is asking for the ability to add an ArcGIS Layer and have it interact with the other visuals on the page. This is in our backlog and we hope to have it delivered this year. If I did not answer your question, please let me know more details about your specific requirements.
