Has anyone had problems after installing ArcGIS Maps for Office with not being able to simply cut and paste cells?

After installing ArcGIS maps for office i've encountered quite a few issues:

1) I can no longer copy and paste from one cell to another all I get in the destination cell is:

I cannot figure out what it is going on. I put a helpdesk ticket in but haven't gotten a reply back yet.

2) When I am doing things like switching to different sheets in a workbook, or simply trying to exit out of excel I get this really great error:

There is really no rhyme or reason for when this error shows up.

I am about to the point where I am just going to uninstall ArcGIS Maps for Office so I can do simple things like cut and paste again. This did not happen before I installed AMFO.
