They must have changed the data because the one I was working with is Insured Properties. But no worries, I was able to find a solution.

When trying to add my practice data to my ArcGIS for Excel on the layers option, I get this error message: "Cannot read properties of null (reading '0')". What could be the problem?

Hey @ZiziphoKeli1

Would it be possible to link the practice data here? It may be that Excel cannot read blank or rows with a 0 in it, I would attempt to export a single row from the attribute table and test to see if it has problems with certain data.

Cody

I would also try to open a new fresh Excel instance to be sure it's not something else in the sheet you're trying to use.

Cody

Good afternoon @ZiziphoKeli1, Thanks for posting! From what I gather you downloaded the data from a training course, is it this one, Get started with ArcGIS for Excel? I ask because the sample data you provided here in another comment is Insured properties but the data from the training course is SalonCustomers. Can you please clarify?

Thank you,

SC
