ArcGIS for Excel - Attributes in Excel Not Dynamically Updating

I am using ArcGIS for Excel connected to my organization's Portal environment.
I can load the feature services and bring in their associated data as sheets in Excel.
When data is edited, Excel does not dynamically update.
I've tried refreshing the data with right clicking the hamburger menu and closing/reopening.

How do I configure ArcGIS for Excel to update when the service is updated?

Good morning @MelissaSalich Thank you for posting your question. ArcGIS for Excel does not support dynamic updates (or two-way syncing). Once edits are made, you may reshare the layer/map or select update (one-way sync).

How do you select update for one-way sync? Is it on the feature layer or within ArcGIS for Excel?

Hey there @MelissaSalich my apologies, did not mean to cause confusion. ArcGIS for Excel does not support dynamic updates. There is no setting for this.

Update: BUG-000164342

ArcGIS for Excel does not show the refresh icon after the excel file is created, therefore not allowing data to dynamically update. Excel v 2302 Build 16130.20868.
