Map service from local ArcGIS Server does not draw symbology

I'm trying to add locally hosted ArcGIS Server map services to AutoCAD using the latest release of ArcGIS for AutoCAD 355 and I cannot get the data to display. The services get added to ACAD without problem and I can Identify data, but symbology is not drawn. ESRI services draw just fine.

Here's my environment:

Win7 Enterprise SP1

Microsoft .NET 4.6.1

AutoCAD Map 3D 2015

ArcGIS Server 10.3.1

SQL Server 2012 enterprise geodatabase is data store and is registered with AGServer

The services are accessed via ArcGIS Web Adaptor (IIS) using SSL and Windows Auth. The services do not have security applied in AGServer. Mapping and KML are the only capabilities enabled on the service. I'm not using complex symbology for the map service.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
