Does anyone know why I would change the default setting on the Crosshatch flight plan? Does the orientation of the crosshatch matter?

Hi @BPetroka,

In most cases, changing the default hatch angle of a Crosshatch mission won't make a major difference.

Two examples where you may want to adjust it are:
- Capturing a recantgular building, it's best to adjust the hatch angle to capture each side of the building at a 45º angle rather than head on.

- If your mission area is oddly shaped, like a "U" shape for example, adjusting the hatch angle may help optimize the flight path to complete the mission quicker.

Regards,
Nico
