Field Maps Capabilities Issue

Currently I am trying to collect points with Esri Field Maps but my map is in read only mode. And I've gone and enabled editing I'm certain but it still will not let me place points from the cell phone.

If your feature class is z aware make sure the feature service you created is also z aware. If it is not, you will not be able to create a feature. Here’s some documentation incase this applies to your situation.

Hi Ian, good morning. In addition to what Eugene said, if you made changes to the settings of your layers (from read-only to editable) did you also open you map and resave the map? If you make any changes to the layer settings or schema you should open the map and save the map as well so those changes will be reflected in the map.

Do you see the blue circle (+ sign) in the lower right hand corner of your Field Maps/Map screen?

Thanks guys, got a lead from a classmate, and it turns out the solution was to re-upload my feature layer, and go from there.
