Offline Area Map configuration Sync

Hello,

Our users use a lot of offline areas as network quality is often bad in their work zones.

We use a main ArcGIS Online Map in field Maps and we try to link it with Survey123 Forms using Arcade expressions.

However, when syncing an offline zone, it seems that the map configuration like popup configs are not updated.

It means that if I add a new link to a Survey123 form using an arcade expression in the original AGOL map, user will never see it unless they delete and recreate their offline areas.

If I update a popup config on the AGOL map, should the popup also be updated in the offline areas if they are synced once ? Is there any setting to enable ?

Hi @Polesig

When you have an offline area taken for your project we would not recommend changing any settings or configuration until all areas have been synced as you can create syncing errors.

An offline area is a snapshot of the project at that time so when you change something it is no longer the same as the snapshot.

If you make a change whilst an area is offline this will not be visible in the offline area.
