topic New button/option in the overflow menu in ArcGIS Field Maps Questions

Is it possible to create a custom button in the overflow menu that opens URLs or mailto links or anything else? I know I can add custom links and buttons to pop ups, but I want to be able to add one outside a layer and feature. For example, I'd like a user to be able to view the overflow menu and below the existing options (under Share Map) there be a custom button than when clicked on opens a webpage to a url, say a survey123 url/app, or a mailto url that opens their email app with a preaddressed email to our helpdesk.

This has been asked before and was logged internally. Maybe you could search and create the idea?

https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-field-maps-questions/help-link-in-app/td-p/1171549

You could add the help information to the map details section. This would be visible if the user clicks 'View Details' through the menu prior to opening the map.

Alternatively, this is possible in Survey123, but you would be moving to a different, form-centric app.
