How to pull year from a date field to update another field

Hi,

Is it possible to pull the year out of a date field to update another field And make that field hidden?

I can do this in Survey123 but not sure how to do it in Field Maps.

In Arcade, that would just be Year($feature.somefield). When you say "and make that field hidden", which field are you referring to? The date field, or the other one being updated?

In general, as long as the field is available in a service, you can configure the Smart Form to only show the particular fields you want edited, while still accessing other attributes.

Thanks Josh,

Is this added in the 'Create Expression' section below Conditional Visibility? (see attached)

I've added it in there but when I tried it in the app , it remains blank.

I find I have to add the field to the form to add the expression and then that field is visible to users in the app.

I'm also using Enterprise 10.9.1, incase these options are only available in later versions.

Ah, yeah. At 10.9.1, I don't think you can configure forms that way.
