Field Maps on android – use SD card for offline storage

Is it possible to setup the Android Field Maps app to use SD card for storing offline-areas?
I have a use case where a lot of photos is attached, which make the storage of offline area rather big.

I would suggest you to try the "Feature Only" advanced sync option for the webmap, so only the features are downloaded and no attachments, this will reduced the size of the downloaded file.

Thanks for the idea, but it is important for the customer that photos are available in the offline situation.

Has anyone found a workaround for this yet? I was also interested in this capability and speculate it should be possible. I tried switching the storage location for the app through android settings and it does not appear to have the option.
