Sharing FieldMaps maps to people who aren't logged in - possible?

We've created a map in FieldMaps and want to share the collected data with someone who doesn't have an account to log in and see it. The visibility is already set to public, but the share link, when followed, requires them to log in. Is there any way to publish maps from FieldMaps such that the information collected on them can be viewed and accessed by non-logged in users?

If I understand correctly, I think Field maps is for data collections purposes only which require an account. Do you just want to allow others to view the collected data? If you want to only show the collected data per your post, I would just create another webmap showing the layer with the data and make that map public. However, if you do that, you might be required to make your layer public (which you probably dont want to do) so I would create a non editable view layer which could be shared to the public.

Hi @MichaelFeerer ,

As long as the map and data are shared publicly, anyone can use the "Skip Sign In" option in Field Maps and then they will be able to find the map. They can search for it by name, or you can provide an app link with the itemID. You can also use the `anonyousAccess` app link parameter to force the app to skip sign in when it tries to open the map. More details in the Deploy Your Map help topic.

However, this only applies to AGOL, and not to Portal.

Hi @RhettZufelt ,

This is possible with Portal, but with some limitations. You need to have anonymous access enabled for your organization, the map would need to be made publicly available, and you'd need to take into account other access limitations such as needing to be on an organization VPN. The parameter itself, however, can be applied to an Enterprise environment.

Looks like I should have read the original post more closely (about the link), not just skipping sign in.

But, working with tech support, we found no way to skip sign in and see or search for any maps available on your portal, just AGOL.
