Hi ESRI community,

It will be really appreciated if someone has solutions to this issue or has similar problems not resolved.

Issue: The form contains unsupported data error message!

I have 4 related tables to 1 polygon feature layer. Tables have distinct fields but properties are same. When added inspection data via mobile Field Map app, all tables work but except 1 table that gives above error message. Sometimes error shifts to one of the other tables, which has worked before. It is very weird!

Question 1: Can Field Maps (Mobile) hoist more than 3 related tables?

Question 2: Is there a possibility of bug?

Question 3: What is best solution, @esri?

It generally means there is unsupported data in your form, or a field is in the form that shouldn't be.

e.g. sometimes there's issues when raw html is being inserted, or a form expression is invalid to the data type.

Other times it's because a field like Shape is in the form and shouldn't be. Check your form field for reserved words like Shape_length, Shape_area, or common database words like DELETE etc.

Otherwise to assist further we'll need to see screenshots of the form, the fields in them, and ideally the ArcGIS Field Maps logs. Technical support will be able to actively and privately review these as well if you have concerns posting them on the Esri Community.

The form does not contain anything that you have mentioned. Please see the screenshots that has fields in the form.

I had the same error message. If you edit or remove a field within that layer, it screws up the form for that layer (if the field is connected with the form). I had removed a field and once I clicked on the form the error popped up and I was able to close out. It started working smoothly after that.

I had this issue. I had a layer with attachments in the popup config. Attachment fields are not supported form fields. When I clicked the option to configure form from the Popup in ArcGIS Online Field Maps Designer, it added all the popup fields. Apparently, the attachment field was also added, but was not shown on the designer. I had to re-add all the compatible fields without converting from popup.

Why would I get an error when all I do is convert the popup into the form for it to look like this? I reset everything after adding and removing fields

If I am understanding this correctly, if I manually add fields into FMD instead of automatically converting pop-ups this will help resolve the issue?

Also, I've been making my features in ArcGIS Pro, and selecting the 'contains attachments' - but I am now wondering if I need to do that since all I need for attachments are photos, and that seems to be built into Field Maps automatically. I won't be adding any other attachment types. Any thoughts?
