MDM settings and iOs 26.2

Good afternoon,

We are using ArcGIS Field Maps for tracking our public safety crews.

The default LKL value was not frequent enough for the work our crews do.

We are using InTune MDM to deploy apps and override the ArcGIS Field Maps default settings to update LKL at ten seconds.

Our current Field Maps version is 25.3.1.

It appears for those users who have upgraded their devices to iOs 26.2, Field Maps does not use the MDM setting for LKL.

We have needed to override this behavior with a QR code that changes the default, but this will be cumbersome as we add hundreds of users soon for our biggest event.

I have submitted an Esri Support ticket to see if is a known bug, but wanted to see if others have encountered this.

What we are doing now as a work around is to have our users scan a QR code with these parameters

It does work but it will be cumbersome once our largest event starts

Thank you @JakeBrownMaps @MeleKoneya for addressing this matter.
The only concerns that I’ve noticed are with per release IOS developer beta updates for Apple devices. The maps occasionally crash but haven’t seen any occurrence for a couple months now.

The Field Apps team worked with @MeleKoneya directly to resolve this issue. In case anyone else runs into this - please check your MDM app config parameters to ensure they match what is listed in the docs: Deploy your map

Starting with 25.2 we no longer maintain the deprecated "tracking" app config keys. Please use the "locationSharing" equivalent keys as defined in the doc.
