Exclude feature layer from collection choices

There are two feature layers in the web map I am working with, but only one (a point layer) is to be edited and features collected using field maps (see graphic below). The other feature layer (polygon) is required for navigation and is used in a spatial join using arcade, but its features are not edited by users.

I would like the polygon feature layer not to show up as a choice every time a point is collected. Its presence on this 'collect' screen is potentially confusing to new users and takes up screen space.

Can you think of a way to accomplish this?

Making the layer not editable will accomplish this. You can do it in map viewer or in the feature layer settings. See below for map viewer option.
