Field Map Task or Assignments

I'm evaluating Field Maps with the anticipation of the Workforce application being retired later this year. We use it as a primary tool concerning vehicle tracking and communications. However, I don't see the capability of a dispatcher generating a task or an assignment to a fieldworker.

Is this possible within the Field Maps application?

I believe that tasks integration is coming up in field maps this year. I would keep an eye on the https://earlyadopter.esri.com/ for docs

Tasks within FieldMaps will be taking place of Workforce I recommend testing it out now. I personally set up the tasks and created an EXB for supervisors to assign and place them.
