Field map data not syncing to SDE

Hi there

I have set up a Fieldmap which is enabled for offline use.
A field worker went and added some photos to an editable layer and synced the map afterwards.
However, the data is showing in his map but nowhere else. I cannot see anything in the SDE layer.
What is going on here?

What version did they user sync to?

What version are you connected to in the Enterprise Geodatabase?

It sounds like a reconcile / post may be needed to get the states of the data the same (i.e., be able to see the edits).

I have Traditional versioning enabled, with one version "for each downloaded map".

Okay - I think I have found the isue. Somehow the settings in Pro have changed to the grey boxes instead of ticks where it says versioning and track editors.
I think this happens every time a new layer is added to the dataset, annoyingly. So need to remember to switch them on every time.

The real question is: If I turn those settings on now, what will happen with the images stuck in version limbo??
