Field Map Task Logic Options

Hi all,

I've been looking at 'Tasks' functionality in ArcGIS Field Maps, and the option to add specific actions to tasks "take a photo," "upload a file," etc. – looks great and there are plenty of options which is ideal

I did note however there is conditional logic available for controlling the visibility of these actions. but , I couldn't find a way to make a specific action itself (not just a form field attribute) a required action for the completion of the task. For example, can we configure a task so that a fieldworker must complete the "take a photo" action before the task can be marked as complete?

This type of "required" functionality is already available within the forms editor for attribute data, ensuring that critical information is captured. If a similar option isn't available for these new task actions, it feels like it could be a major omission and should be looked at asap

Could someone from Esri or the community @JeffShaner ? clarify if making these specific task actions mandatory is a current or planned feature within the new Tasks system?The ability to ensure that specific actions are performed before a task can be closed would be incredibly beneficial for operational consistency.
