Polyline streaming in Field Maps not working

Good morning all.

This weekend I attempted to use Field Maps, paired with my phone and Bad Elf receiver, to collect data at an OS preserve that I’m working on:

Points- worked as expected.
Polygons- worked as expected.
Polylines- Has a major issue:

I was attempting to collect trails

ESRI’s online instructions state that you turn on “Streaming”, walk and collect your trail, then “Stop Streaming” and “Submit”.

When I did this, I got an error message stating that I needed two or more points to collect a point.

I then selected a point, turned on streaming, walked the trail, selected another point, then ended streaming.

The result was a straight line with a point at either end, not a trail with the expected numerous vertices.

The streaming option was definitely turned on in Field Maps, when I created the datasets.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You might check - in your profile Collection Settings in Field Maps check your Streaming setting - that allows you to set how often to collect a new point while streaming.

Stream setting was selected-it's not the issue.

Did you figure this out? One of our technicians is having this exact same issue.

We got it to work again by adjusting the Accuracy number under Collection Settings - he had it set way too low (32 inches on his vs 30 feet on mine)
